An introduction to growing our own vegetables.

A team of intrepid young gardeners popped over to the Hyperheritage community allotment to learn all about growing their own vegetables just as people would have done during WWII.
Tom Walsh of sustainable Merton was on hand to give an induction on the do's and dont's whilst there as we did not want any little accidents with the gardening tools!
We learnt lots about ground preparation, sowing seeds & harvesting and had a really enjoyable evening!
